Cancelled holiday - what have you bought?

We used the money we’ve saved as our “spending money” to buy a new TV and Xbox (we’re big kids)! We also used the rest to put deposit down on villa for next year 🤞🏻
Insurance paid out on claim for the villa and that’s gone back into savings! Although I have dipped into it to buy myself a new Fitbit 🙈

A new boiler. 😂

We had the decking extended, bought a beautiful wooden play house for DS and lots of plants.
Hoping to get DS a new bed too.

We haven’t spent any of it yet, waiting to see if we keep jobs etc feels good to have a bit put by. I thought I would be chomping at the bit to book another holiday but am strangely calm about it all, it can wait.

We were meant to go to DLP at Easter and a short city break last week.
Have had all monies involved in both trips back (except Eurotunnel which is a voucher to use next year instead) and have spent it all on landscaping the garden instead. Hubby doing all the work himself, but the materials and plants etc have cost a fair bit. Treated ourselves to a palm tree which I’ve always wanted.
Not quite finished yet as hubby working full time from home too, but getting there.
