Alex Trebeck has died

For all those who like us love to watch Jeopardy whilst in the US the host Alex has just died aged 80. Apparently he was filming new shows until March when Covid shut down filming.

Very sad news.

We've watched Jeopardy for years on our trips to Florida. He'd fought it for many years.

I've just seen that Jamie Lee Curtis has sent condolences - Stupid Judy according to Ellen DeGeneres.

To me he is one of those people that I instantly recognise but could never recall the name.

As I grew up in the states and have worked there a lot in adult life his face and voice are the background to many memories (jeopardy on it the background real life going on whilst it plays on the screen)

Hi Linda - I've liked Jeopardy for many years - there was talk of his son taking over, guess time will tell.
