Avis Toll road scheme

Ellie - that's interesting. We had a vistor tollpass but just noticed I've also been charged tolls by Avis! Looks like we've had 2 passes on the go with tolls on one or the other, but with Avis charging $3.95 a day service charge. I've raised it with Avis but waiting on a response.

I usually rent with Alamo and have had no issues possibly as it’s easy to Skip the counter. Happy with their toll charges as we normally only rack up any tolls on a few days so happy to pay for the convenience.

Was wondering whether either Avis and Budget was any different in terms of having issues such as this, any other issues and of course specifically toll charges.

Maybe I’ll just pay extra and stick with Alamo!

You can get issues like this with any car hire company. People all over have had problems with all off them at one point or another.

We have never had any problems with tolls with Avis.
