All,
I have a couple of questions to all you have eaten at the above restaurant. Myself and the family have a reservation booked for 9:45 on Sunday 1'st December, it is coincidently Mickey Very Merry Christmas party night at the magic kingdom, I believe the fireworks are at 10 o'clock that evening so my wife would dearly like to combine the reservation with viewing the fireworks from the observation deck. Do you think there is enough time to fit this in with the dinner reservation at 9:45. Secondly although the menu for myself and my wife sounds wonderful my children are less than impressed. Fussy kids! has anyone requested or does anyone know if they just do portions of fries?
Many thanks in advance.

If you tell your server that you wish to view the fireworks from just outside the restaurant they will notify the chefs so you don’t miss any part of your meal whilst watching the show. They have been great at this and we never had anything left on the table while we watched the fireworks in any previous occasions. They have it all planned down to a fine art ant they all know how important to the guest experience it all is the food the drinks and the fireworks. Top tip make sure you take a jacket / cardigan outside with you ..the wind really picks up out there some nights and you don’t want the cooler air spoiling the experience. You could be watching for a while so keep warm.

We've been there several times, and it's always gone really well, even though last time the fireworks schedule got pushed back an hour between booking and reservation. As Wifey said, just inform your server.
Quick tip, there's a fireworks viewing area which hardly ever has anyone there. Just go past the loos and carry on...

We ate here a fortnight ago and our server told us she would take our main order but nothing would be served until after the fireworks , we didn’t even need to ask , she was attentive and made the whole experience fabulous . If the kids like pizza just order that as their main. It’s a really good pizza and huge for an appetiser. They offered this to my 15 year old instead of his main but he tried the steak and devoured it .
We went to eat h the fireworks to the left as you look out of the windows , less people great view .

I suspect that you won't probably be seated by the time the fireworks start. People who have earlier seating times tend to drag them out to wait for the fireworks. We have had to wait nearly every time if we have booked before the fireworks start, strangely we never have to wait if its after...

Just let them know when you arrive that you will be watching the fireworks and they will seat you afterwards.

I once booked for 7.30 - the fireworks were due at 9, so we thought that would give us ample time to finish just before them, and then go out on the balcony. We decided to check in at 6.30 so we could go to the bar area and have a couple of drinks before the meal. We told them this at check in. Before I could order a drink, my buzzer went off. I told them I didn't want to start the meal at this point, as we'd booked our time specifically so that we could watch the fireworks without having to wait around for over an hour after the meal. They weren't very happy. It's obvious they were trying to push covers through as quickly as possible. Learning from this, next time we went, we did the same but without checking in for the restaurant. Went to bar, had drinks, then I went to the concierge desk next to the bar, and checked in. We were given a lovely table in the Wine Room, with a great view of the Poly and the Electrical Light Pageant.
