Upper Class Advice Please from Seasoned UC flyers!
Travelling UC for first time tomorrow and just wanted to get some advice from seasoned UC travellers! Do you dress 'smartly' for clubhouse/flight and what should we expect from our clubhouse and flight experience. Don't want to feel out of place so would appreciate knowing what to expect. Thanks in advance.
Pls ignore first time at SSR countdownwe have managed another trip and dont know how to change countdown!

I cant offervadvice on UC (it's been far too long) but to change your countdown just tap on it and it should give you the options. You may have to change to tablet mode to do this if you are on a mobile.
Ok so I will comment on UC "dress code"- dress casually and clean. Feel comfortable. You may be surprised what other pax wear!

Hi
If you have paid for a ticket, you can wear whatever you feel comfortable in, although in order not to "stand out", I wouldn't go for anything outlandish. The clubhouse is a mixture of people on business trips (more likely to be in a suit, although not always) and those just on holiday. Quite a few men wear jeans and a shirt; I have worn trousers and a top mostly. I would wear a jacket if I needed one at the destination as it is much easier than packing one, and the crew will hang your jacket in the wardrobe on board so it won't get crushed. If you weren't intending to bring one for your trip, I wouldn't bother though. You will enjoy the clubhouse; plenty of food and a full bar available. Personally, I'm not fussed about spa and hair facilities, but it is an option. You get a ten minute treatment free (subject to availability), but longer treatments come at a cost. As soon as you are on board, you will be offered a welcome drink (champagne or water), then just relax and enjoy the flight. Hope you have a great time EC Edited at 08:00 AM. |

Who cares what you wear. When flying Upper or BA First I wear jeans and a t-shirt.
Or until changed into the PJ's! |

Wear whatever you feel comfy in. Hubby usually has long shorts, I have cropped trousers in summer, jeans at Christmas

I fly UC all the time, don't think I have ever even thought about what to wear.
