Choosing sit down restaurants when not on the DDP

We do the ones we love. It’s usually 5 TS at Disney and eat QS the rest of the time 🙂

We have only had DDP once, normally have QSDP. When using QSDP we book our favourite TS restaurants anyway and pay out of pocket.

If possible in future we would buy the dining plan, but if they’re not doing them, then we would again book the TS ones we really want to do, and then play everything else by ear. Mostly QS lunches and if we want a TS we’d just see what was available on the day

We do very few ADRs. I like Yak and Yeti with the Landry card, And we pick one or two others that are less expensive. Last trip we did Skippers Canteen as it was new, and Mama Melrose but other than that we either eat quick service or off site.

We do usually also do The Plaza but that’s very cheap. (Relatively speaking )
