I think that's very thoughtful about the first letter of all your names - you never know what kids are going to notice or mind about.
I had a quick look at the top 50 girls names registered in 2018 and 2019. Martha and Cora are both outside the 50, which means they're current but you won't be calling the same name as 5 other parents at the playground, whichever you choose!

I had the same thought as many others, martha goes better with edith. Martha to me is a softer sounding name than cora too.
Just my personal preference though... congrats to you and all the best to you and your growing family xx

Both are beautiful names and I did vote, but I'd say to ignore what everyone else thinks and go for what's right for you. Whatever decision you make will be the right one 🙂

Hmm, I would always look at what they will be shortened to in the playground. So you have Cor or Mar, which do you prefer.
When our daughter was born I liked the name Jessica but my husband didnt want her called Jessie, just a personal preference. |

Martha and Edith have a nice ring to them ...
Incidentally, my German grandmother was Martha but they pronounce it it Marta. Good luck with the impending birth. x |

Ooo this is tough, I love them both! I think I would ever so slightly sway towards Martha as it goes so beautifully with Edith

Cora in Once Upon A Time is indeed a baddie but very glamorous, and I don’t think it will matter by the time she is in school.
Martha makes me think of ‘Martha and Mary’ in the Bible, where Martha comes off a bit less well in the story (but I think she’s totally badass). Or Martha in ‘The Secret Garden’ the generous, kindly maid. Cora makes me think of corazon, Spanish for heart. Initials are fine either way - can’t think of any nasty connotations. Either way I’m sure she will be a gorgeous baby with a beautiful name.

They are all lovely names, however I do prefer Martha. I think Edith and Martha go together better than Edith and Cora. Good luck with choosing x

The little girl (well maybe 11) is called Martha and she’s the only one in the school.
My mum is Edith named after her mum.
