Isle Of Arran

We have an upcoming trip to Arran and as I won't be posting from the BC this year I'm going to post this instead.

Love Arran, had many childhood holidays in a house in Corrie.
Is the ferry taking tourists again? We were hoping for a day trip but may have to wait until next year.

Yes, but limited spaces and prebooking necessary, no food (as far as I'm aware) or shop open onboard.
DS lives on the hillside a mile above Whiting Bay.

Lovely, have a great time.
I last went over 5 years ago with family and re created a family photo from around 40 years earlier on the stepping stones at Sannox.
I will look into booking the ferry.

Me and DH decided to cancel going. Gutted but sadly it was the right decision for us __________________ I've learned that the people you care most about in life are taken from you too soon and all the less important ones just never go away. And the real pains in the butt are permanent.

DS gets over to Islay (and all the other islands) often with his job, the islands are really safe at the moment and have been throughout, but maybe not a trip with a large group.
