It's a pretty decent fare - LBA-MCO for my mid August dates was £400 each when I looked and it was definitely the smart fare with all luggage etc included - I couldn't quite believe it myself!

We've done this route and I was v excited to do pre-clearance in Dublin on way out and it was v quick - BUT the return was pretty dire - we booked a day room hotel room at the Carlton but had to wait for the room to be available for an hour and were totally exhausted.
Unfortunately, we wouldn't do this again - if you go via Manchester it's only a 4 hour layover I think and then a 1 hour drive back to Leeds - much rather do that.

Also booked Aer Lingus MAN - MCO via Dublin.

7 people, 5th - 26th August @£463 each. Great price on smart fare so luggage & seats included.

Comes with allowing you to change dates for free if there is an issue & avios points. Immigration clearance in Dublin is also a plus.

Nearly 9hr stopover in Dublin on way back though. Think we may head into Dublin itself for a few hours to kill the time.

Car booked with Andy @ DFCH.

Just need accommodation now & a dose of luck that covid is a thing of the past.

Yes, car more expensive than we have paid before but Andy was very close to the best price I found for my dates and if it becomes cheaper Andy will sort it out for us. Fingers crossed.

We've booked the same on the 18th - 1st Sept. Averages at £400 each (2A, 1 teen, 1 child).

To me they are great prices as we usually end up direct with Virgin at about £750-850 average each.
At these prices I can literally give my kids a £20 note each every hour of the layover and still have £600 left.
