I take amalodapine as prescribed, in the morning. BUT I am the worst for taking it on time/at all. I work so many different shift patterns it’s hard to get into a routine. I tried putting in my bedside table to take first thing as I get up or last hung as I go to bed post nights. But then I would fall into bed and forget until I woke up 8hrs later...and then I kept it on the microwave to remind me but I am in a brain fog on getting up at 05.45 for a long day and forget to take it... thankfully since losing weight my bp has naturally dropped and hopefully I can stop the mess soon anyway

I take mine in a morning as prescribed, I used to work in a care home and ramapril was always given in a morning... the only reason for taking it in an evening was if there was side effects that effected the day... statins are best taken at night...

I take amlodipine and ramipril in the evening as advised by the pharmacist, I was taking it in the morning but almost passed out on numerous occasions they advised that it makes no difference what time you take them. But I take indapamide in the morning as I constantly need a ‘wee’ after taking it

I wouldn’t worry about being precise with times, just stick to morning or evening...

Sue. I have a set procedure both here and in the States. Every evening I put them on the worktop for the next morning. Become a habit now. Right by the coffee machine works for me!

I then see them in the morning and never forget.

However after this study I will speak to my GP ref the morning v evening scenario. Will have to wait as I just got 6 months supply though.

Sorry Tom I meant when you are on a different time zone. Mine are next to my bed with a bottle of water. I only have 28 days supply so will have to get that sorted too before holiday!

Ahh I see. I don't worry about the time difference. So I take mine at the normal time I use and then fly. My next lot I again take at the same time the next day albeit it's not the UK 'normal time' but I don't worry about that.

Coming home I take them in the morning US time and then not until I am home here the next day so very very late for that day.

My GP gives me 3 prescriptions at a time 2 are post dated. Therefore I get 56 of each tablet per prescription so I keep getting 8 weeks worth.
Also I can order online from him if I need more ref a holiday etc.

I take my tablet (Irbesartan), just before bed, as advised by my consultant.
