I chose May 1st through 15th. Post Easter before Memorial Day. I found these weeks from both POR and Flights most cost effective. Although, I firmly believe that there are no more “off “ seasons. TP have these weeks down as low crowds. But don’t tell everyone otherwise they’ll all go and it’ll be busy

I'm another one going first 2 weeks may for same reasons. Normally go mid to late April but Easter dates made me decide to go later.

Been in May twice - once early and it was very quiet
The second bled into memorial weekend and it was chaos and sadly I saw the worst of the American loudness and ignorance

We prefer the first half of May. The humidity kicks in around mid-May, and with that the rain. There were also many school groups in the parks, which was not the case in early May. We were expecting Memorial Day to be worse than it was, but it was still far less pleasant than early May. And Disney were sneaky! They increased the prices of colour-coded merchandise a few days before Memorial Day weekend!

For us the weather is the main factor.

we went 2017 may 16-30th and it was pretty quiet up until around memorial day weekend and then it was absolute bedlam, disney resorts full of drunk teens screaming in the pool until 2am and staff just not caring at all. The parks were a lot busier this weekend too. We still had a great time just a few days were too much, would definitely go may again but would avoid memorial day weekend at all costs, apparently this may was very very busy though from what i've been told by friends right from early on.

It's my wife's Birthday on May 20th. We have been out there 3 times on that date and apart from the fact that it normally includes the memorial weekend in our stay I would definitely recommend it. Never found the crowds to be too bad and the weather is hot without being too humid.

We are going May next year over half term and I was concerned it maybe busy, but we always used to go August and one coincided with a school cheerleading thing/ soccer tournament at the pop century/ sports hotel so kids everywhere so it may just depend on the hotel u have picked as well- x

We're going end of May - 22nd to 5th June at WDW.

We went in July last year, so not to bothered about a crowds, but TP only have 2 days as a 10 during our 14 days - so we'll maybe do waterparks those days. The rest are sitting about 5-7.

xx
