Words - that dont appear in the dictionary..

But really should! Do you know of any words that fit the bill, or words you use locally?

Comeondowns (Kum on downz);

N. Depression resulting from knowing all the answers to a game show while confined in your living room.

Postconcertitis - the feeling you get the morning after you've seen a great concert. Symptoms include tiredness, temporary loss of voice, temporary loss of hearing*, urge to play the band's music on repeat and a massive grin plastered across your face. The cure is loud music and more concerts.


*On a serious note, look after your hearing and consider protective earplugs if you're going to a lot of gigs.

Dreich: a mainly Scottish word meaning dreary (usually pertaining to weather). This is one of my favourite Scottish words, perhaps because if you aren't Scottish, its almost impossible to pronounce correctly!
