Mobile Gatwick hotels

Now that I’ve got flight booked wanting to get hotel booked. Have never stayed at Gatwick before so I’m not sure where is good/what’s a decent price etc.
Preferably somewhere that’s decent value but not miles and miles away. We will be getting the train in too so somewhere that is near the train route.

You will never go wrong with perimere inn Gatwick north. It is across the zebra crossing from departures and the shuttle train to south terminal. Beds are ace, sound proofed. Often get it for £40. We stayed there again Monday and still love it as much as when it opened

The Hilton attached to the south terminal is "free" if you have enough Tesco Deals. Includes buffet breakfast.

If you're paying real money we've never beaten the Premier Inn just over the road from the north terminal - cost has varied considerably though - £28, £38 and £55. I've no magic formula to know when to get the best price I'm afraid. Breakfast is extra.

Doesn't matter which terminal you fly from. They are connected by a 5 minute APM ride.

It’s £79 right now!
I’ve booked it on a pay on arrival price so can cancel any time and if it drops in price I can always cancel and re book
I don’t shop at Tesco so no points sadly.
We will be flying ba I can’t remember which terminal they are.

Can't say for certain as we always drive but Google Maps says there's a Gatwick train station. Don't know how much of a walk though.

Yes..when you go into lgw on the choo choo, you are firmly in the South terminal...(via London Victoria)

Come out of the station and turn right into the terminal

Turn left and left again to exit the terminal and follow signs to hotel

Cross the road at the end and turn left to the lifts

Go down one floor

Exit, turn right and you will walk up to the Hilton
