Universal Gondola's

Universal has filed a patent for a multi park gondola system.
This doesn't mean it will go ahead but maybe.
Reading the article, The meat on the bones isn't the gondola system itself but the details what the cars will do. Initial thoughts are that it will move from track to track and possibly attraction without the passenger having to leave or change ride vehicles. Who knows. These ideas patented seem to vanish never to be heard of again.

You mean a system like they use at LHR T5 but in a cable car? This is a technology that already exists... good luck trying to stop others using this system.

From reading the article it is different to what already exists.

It seems that people get in an automatic vehicle that can travel round the park, it can then be locked onto a cable car system to get to another park, most likely to avoid the I4.

It would make sense to have system that can link all the parks. I�m sure I read a few years ago that they wanted something that would link all the hotels and parks. Whether that�s feasible I have no idea.
