Frenchic kitchen makeover
So we completed on our new home 3 weeks ago. The kitchen in here is fine and workable but was a wooden shaker style. I have lovingly cleaned, scrubbed, sugar soaped and sanded then applied 3 coats of the city slicker frenchic paint. It’s a self levelling paint and you can’t see any brush strokes! It’s like a whole new kitchen. Looks loads bigger! It will keep us going until we knock down a wall to make it bigger and design a new kitchen!
Kickboards still need to go on as does the new radiator and a bit of plastering work off the side into the utility room then I’ll paint it all white (the walls)! Me and my mum started around 5pm Monday night cleaning sugar soaping and sanding and 1st coat of paint. Bed at midnight. Up and 2nd coat of paint left for over 2 hours to dry, then 3rd coat of paint. Put all the handles back on etc and finished around 5pm Tuesday!

I did similar in my utility kitchen and was really pleased with the results. I wasn’t as careful as you and the finish isn’t as good on close inspection But does look good until, like you, I can replace it

It looks fabulous! Well done you 👏. My friend introduced me to Frenchic and I'm addicted to their Facebook page. Not tried anything myself yet though

They both look fabulous- how many tins were needed ? I wanted to do some French chic painting during lockdown but it was all out of stock .

For my kitchen and the island in the middle I used about 1 and 1/4 tins of the 750ml city slicker
