Spa weekend
It’s my birthday on Sunday and DS is going to stay with a friend on Friday night so I was thinking of booking a spa break for myself and DH.
I’ve found a lovely hotel and was thinking of booking the afternoon tea at 2:30pm then using the spa and having a massage at the end of the day (5pm) then having dinner later at the hotel. Does this sound doable? I didn’t know if we should be arriving at the hotel earlier and using the spa facilities before the afternoon tea to get more use out of it? (Like the whole day) but the afternoon tea is served in the hotel restaurant and it would seem like a faff to keep getting changed? I have never been to a spa before so really have absolutely no idea how it all works lol 😂 |

Oh I love a Spa but no idea how things would be at the moment. Our favourite one includes lunch in the restaurant and we go in there in our (provided) dressing gowns.

From experience it depends whether it’s a spa hotel (most people will be in bathrobes including the restaurants) or a hotel with a spa - you would need to get changed which would be a faff!
Hope that makes sense! |

Thanks both, I’ve called them and they’ve said we would have to get changed to have the afternoon tea in the restaurant so I think we will have the afternoon tea at 2:30 (earliest time available) then have our 45 minute swim/jacuzzi session followed by a massage at 5pm
