Same happened to me. Charged $19.99 delivery for three mugs. I know it’s a lot but on the plus side, I received my mugs really quickly and they are lovely

When I was ordering from this site I did notice that tax and shipping was added to the total price which started to make it expensive. I could see this before I paid. I had selected GBP. On looking closer on the site it did say it would take the money in US dollars. Because of this I used a credit card that wouldn’t charge any extra. The money taken was what I expected.
The mug has just come this morning- wasn’t due until Wednesday. Although it was quite expensive I’m really pleased with it. It’s for a dear friend who has had a bad year. She will love the picture of her and her beloved dog and their names. It came from Birmingham so probably printed there.

You won’t believe this! My sister in law, Amelia’s auntie has just given her this gift for her birthday!

I’d literally just showed Dh on here saying how nice it was, then there it was!

Can’t believe it. Things like that do seem to happen to me quite often. 🤷🏻

I'm trying to make an effort this year to shop local and support independent shops. Not always easy when amazon is at the click of of a button. Glad to see Lisa Angel on here ive bought great gifts from them and its local too.
Not so much unique but an idea for a couples gift. Im doing my two and partners a couples movie night box.
They have fleecey covered hot water bottles a dvd hot chocolate ball from milk and more a bath scented teabag and festive candle from wild & olive. Candy kittens sweetie tub large chocolate bar bag of popcorn and a cocktail pre mixed with garnish from Edmunds cocktails.

As 2 of my DD will be receiving hair straighteners/hairdryers this year, i’m thinking of getting them a cheap plain grey plastic storage box (think B&M £4), and then getting some vinyl labels printed from Label.lady.1 on Instagram. Thought I could personalise with “Hair care”. Might also do an extra one for middle DD as she’s completely filled her Ikea unit with her K-pop albums & merch, and now has a jumble of stuff on top of the unit, so might label another with “K-pop forever!” (I can’t use the name of her favourite band as brand names are not allowed).
