Freezing air con

Anyone else find the shops so cold 🥶 just got back & the Nike Shop in particular in Miami was so cold, that it was a relief to leave & get out in some heat
I usually take a cardy if eating out as I always seem to get right by the air con
Hubbies got a stinky cold & I wonder if it’s related to being hot then cold then hot etc etc
Anyone else suffer ?

Yes! I hate how extreme it is, one minute youre baking hot and the next you are freezing

I find the buses the worst

You will probably find that its not that cold in reality but its the difference in the outside temperature that makes it feel colder. If its 35 outside then 22 inside feels pretty cold.

and over on Disboards the Americans complain about the lack of air con in Europe in general and specifically in the hotels in Disneyland Paris. Ive lost track of the amount of trip reports Ive read from Americans complaining about no air in during their tours in Europe

Me too! The back seats give some heat out I head for them if it’s a night bus!

I always leave a cardi in the car for shop and restaurant visits. I find the aircon too cold.

Similar, but not quite. We had a lovely lunch at the rainforest cafe after a hot HOT morning at animal kingdom, we where sat right underneath the aircon and i ( i usually like the cold) was shivering like crazy it was so cold, the result of this was an immediate rush of nasty toilet boom boom (more like splash - WALLOP! ) after pudding!.

Me too, I always take a hoodie into restaurants, my American friends always complain about the lack of air con when they come over here, they also complain about only getting one or two ice cubes in their drinks over here.

Exactly... There have been summer days in England (particularly last year) where our corner shop felt just like the stores in Florida, but it was just because the weather was so hot outside!
