Mobile British bucket list

So I think it's safe to say a lot of people's plans abroad have been somewhat disrupted this year (mine included).

I am hopeful by Summer we will at least be able to travel within the UK (if government guidelines allow, of course)

What are some locations/attractions in the UK you love? & what are locations/attractions you've always wanted to go to but never found the time?

We love the Isle of Skye but haven't been back in nearly 4 years so we're definitely due a visit.

A place we've always wanted to go but never found the time would be Thorpe Park, though not sure this will realistically be on the cards this year depending on social distancing.

I'd be happy just to go to the various garden centres we're lucky to have within 20 mins drive from home. Buying a few plants, having a coffee-shop lunch and just chatting with people who know about gardening is one of my most enjoyable outing in the spring & summer.

We live next to the sea so would like a city visit, so a trip to London would be on our list. We want to wander round the museums and art galleries, a trip on the Thames and visit the Tower of London etc. We don't live far from London but never seem to have the time to visit.

We've already had to cancel trips to London, Liverpool and Arran so would like to do those; then our usual summer trips out to get some normality back - Alnwick Castle, Whitby, Yorkshire Dales, York etc.

I'm a Londoner so if you haven't already done so check out the Ceremony of the Keys at the Tower of London. You have to book well in advance so that you can be vetted (your not told that) & they usually give you a choice of dates unless you ask specifically for a date for a special reason - its really interesting.

I love Northumberland, Scottish Highlands, Cornwall, Northern Ireland, so many great places in the UK.

We were talking this morning that if we can’t do our trips abroad this year then, hopefully, we’ll be able to explore the UK. I think we live in a great country with so much to see.

We’ve just watched the TV series Flesh & Blood and I would love to see those white cliffs and beaches where it was filmed.

If California is off the agenda then at the very least I'm hoping we still make it for Silverstone for the f1

The Lake District with the doggy, I loved going for walks and pubs and the gorgeous scenery. I’d be happy to go shopping and lunch or a dog walk and lunch in a pub ate this rate x
