John Lewis Christmas Ad 2020

It’s a shame it didn’t make an effort to reflect Christmas we will be having with covid eg fun but with social distancing and masks and as such I thought it was irrelevant, dull and turgid and did nothing to make me want spend at JL or Waitrose - another Sharon White missing the point and the previous loyal JL audience . It might be better used for VALENTINES DAYS

I’m obviously the minority, I think it’s a perfect message for this Christmas, by showing Kindness, helpfulness we spread Love, Perfect.

I liked it - I think it will be a grower. Want a plush of the hedgehog!

Defo NOT a memorable one for me! Dont even like the song found it very sluggish, kept waiting for it to upbeat a bit. ! Nowhere near as good as the Amazon advert.
As Megaflyer says more appropriate for Valentine's Day if anything.

Mcdonalds one is so much better, i had tears watching it. Who is the singer, not my cup of tea sadly. Bring back the wee dragon xx

It's cute and it's sensitive towards people who may be worrying about not spending it with their families, so that's a positive.

Any other year I'd say I was underwhelmed by it, but I actually think they've got it right for 2020.

I am quite glad it didn’t feature masks and social distancing! It did have imaginative ways to reach out such as the long cracker.

For those of us who watch Once Upon A Time, the glowing red heart on the Christmas tree might be a bit worrying!

It always seems the big build up to Christmas is John Lewis advert and eagerly awaited, however so disappointing this year. No tear jerking this year
