14 day ticket near expiry date?
Hello
We have rebooked to go back fingers crossed Sept 21, Our Disney tickets expire on 30/09/21 but we land on the 18th. Will they still work as I’m concerned that when/if we go the 14 days goes past the expiry date and Disney day they are not valid! Thanks in advance |

I would have thought you would get 14 days from first day of activation. As you will be going before they expire at the end of sept you should be good to go.
Could give Disney a call to confirm and put your mind at ease |

We decided to cancel and get a refund as we aren't sure when we will get back. I'm sure they had to be activated by the 16th September 2021 so they had been used by the end of the month. Before the 50th anniversary celebrations were due to start.
I would contact Disney or whichever company you bought the tickets from to confirm. Edit: ours were from Orlandoattractions.com and the covid terms and conditions says the 14 day ultimate ticket has to be activated by the 16th September. The 9th sept for 21 day tickets. Edited at 04:41 PM. |

Thank you both for the reply’s, I will give my vendor and Disney a call.
The confusion for me is on my MDE app the expiry date states the 30th and my vendor states this “ the ticket validity has been automatically extended to 16 September 2021. If you are planning to change your holiday to any time between 1 January and 16 September 2021, you can keep hold of your tickets as these will be valid to use on your new holiday dates. If you are changing your holiday to a date between 17 September to 31 December 2021, tickets must be returned to us as per the process for changing the year of travel below and replaced with 2021 tickets. The difference in price will be payable.” so it is looking like I may have to pay the difference 🤦 |

Unless you bought a ticket specifically to use after the 21st September 2021, not a ticket that was extended past is original expiry date, then the tickets won't be valid after this date regardless of when you first use it. Some exceptions apply to 21 day tickets bought and paid for earlier this year.

Good ish news I spoke to guest services and got the following reply after they checked my tickets
“The ticket is valid until September 30, 2021. So if you arrive on the 19th, you can use the ticket up until the expiration date, but it will no longer be valid after it expires. If your plans have you desiring to visit our Theme Parks more than 11 days or beyond the 30th, I would recommend reaching out to us or your travel provider to discuss what options you may have.” I’m not bothered about losing 3 days towards the end of my stay so let’s hope we can get out! |
