Would VA apply the miles discount retrospectively to an existing booking?
Cancel and re book if need be it's only £30

I did think about this.

How long would the miles take to be credited back? I wouldn't want to cancel and not get them back by Sunday!

Miles are usually instant but I wouldn't be doing it without a phone call to make sure, also new reward seats need to be available as the ones you cancel don't get put back on the system straight away.

I was told today the miles are back within the day, any companion vouchers take about 7 days and refund of taxes are currently taking around 30 days.

This might be where re-booking for me would fall down as we used companion vouchers. Never mind, i'll still ask if there's anything they can do... just in case!

May I suggest Dibbers bear in mind this excellent sale may likely be VIrgin attempting to bring in much needed cash at the moment. Please consider paying with credit card for S75 coverage if needed.

I think it's a great sale, I don't remember seeing prices (or a 50% miles decrease in UC) in this range before. I'm not being negative, I simply want Dibbers to protect their payments.
