DD Day came and went without a dance in sight!

Hi All,

So our DD day happened a few days ago and I didn't even realise, whereas normally I would have been doing lots of this:

We are scheduled to go 17th Aug, flights booked and paid for with Aer Lingus

10 Nights at POR with dining plan and tickets

4 Nights Endless Summer with tickets

Normally at this stage I would be so excited with all the planning etc but we are just not living in any kind of normal at the moment and it will be a long time before we are (if ever)

Feeling so flat so today I have filled in all our plans, ADR's etc on the vacation planner and have set a reminder for FP day, actually got a little bit excited, we can but dream

I’m sorry that you are feeling flat.
We didn’t dance on our DD day either. I over heard my youngest telling his friends online that he should be getting excited for his holiday but we probably won’t be going and it made me feel a little sad. 😢

You still have 99 days. Think back 99 days to what life was like then and how much has changed. Another 99 days and life could almost be back to normal. 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Same here. I'd stopped looking at our count down so missed it completely and only realised as we had a balance due on a cruise 🙁

I was a couple of days late spotting ours too. Such a change after the excitement of getting the ADR’s we wanted a few weeks before

But i guess the most important thing is my family and myself are currently safe and well, and for that I am so thankful, a good friend of mine lost two family members in the same week to this awful virus

Even if we get no holiday we have a lot to be very thankful for
