Villa location recommendations

We usually stay onsite, but next year -May- we would prefer a villa. Easy driving distance of WDW and restaurants. It’s for my daughter, grandson aged 4 and I. Must have space so preferably 4 beds and 2 ensuites, and a largish pool.

Any locations ideas would be gratefully appreciated.

Smax. You still here

Why not have a look at the dibb villa interactive map and you will be able to see the locations and how long to Disney etc

There are absolutely no bad Villa areas. There are areas quite close to Disney, like the Formosa area and there are areas a little further out, like Davenport, Clermont or Haines. All have their own benefits, all are within easy reach of all the parks, shopping and restaurants and I would imagine that all the villas advertised on here are exceptionally well looked after by hands on owners, they hopefully will not be like some of the aoa ones that I have seen recently on various pages.

We love the area on the 192- Windsor Palms, Windsor Hills, Emerald Island, Sunset Lakes, Indian Creek, Formosa Gardens- very close to the parks and lots of restaurants. Windsor Hills is about to open new chutes/water park in their communal area which looks fab.

Definitely recommend the Formosa Gardens area just off the 192. Closest you can get to Disney and within 5-10 minutes of many restaurants, Super Target and the new Walmart

Another fan of the Formosa Gardens area, very close to Disney and lots of restaurants and supermarkets on the 192. Sunset Lakes also looks really nice, which is the other side of the Disney access road on the 192, never stayed there, but have seen a couple of lovely Dibb villas with pools and games room

We’ve stayed in a lovely 4 bedroom villa in Emerald Island for the last three years. We’re going back in August for three weeks and have booked it for next year. It’s very much ‘home from home’ and lovely to be going back.
With the Sherbeth Road shortcut, we can get to Animal Kingdom in about 15 minutes.

The new Walmart is at the junction of the192 and North Old Lake Wilson Road. It opened a couple of months ago it's closer that the one at Cagan Crossings if you are staying in the Formosa area.
