I was meaning the change in 2022 to Melbourne airport or has that change been cancelled. We have booked August 2021 and agree Sanford doesn’t bother us.

We have booked a fly drive for May 2021. I was meant to go with Virgin this year but seat assignment on the new Virgin planes doesn’t work for us. I’m quite happy to fly in to Sanford hopefully less of a queue getting in through customs than MCO.

We booked 3 weeks from 29th September 2021 Flight only PE from Glasgow when they were released.

The extra journey time from the airport to the villa isn't a real issue for me. I've never flown into Melbourne, but looking at Google maps, it looks like around a 90 minute drive to Kissimmee (more than likely the are we'll be staying near). I always preferred to fly to Sanford than MCO anyway, it was a little further out, but getting through customs and out of the airport would often mean a quicker turnaround time from landing to villa than if flying through MCO. It's a shame TUI are stopping the Sanford flights, but I'm just glad it isn't another carrier going to MCO.

I haven't seen anything to say the move has been cancelled, although I guess it could be possible.

I,d be surprised if TUI cancel moving to Melbourne from Sanford in 2022

The move is to service the cruisers as TUI will have cruise ship based/sailing from Port Canaveral in 2022

We booked in November (17th) last year, not sure if it was bang on release, but we had the choice of seats on the plane, although we had to phone up due to the system not allowing us to book them.
