Everyones plans sound lovely we're hoping our August trip to Florida comes off but I'm not feeling so positive at the minute but think that's just the January blues, a bit of lockdown fatigue and that work has been tough the last few weeks

On the plus side DH has had both doses of the Pfizer vaccine he's an Ambulance Care Assistant and I've had my first I'm a nurse no side effects from DH and just a bit of a sore arm and aches for me we won't let out guard down at work but we do feel a bit safer 👍

Such good news that your DH and you have had jabs. It must be good for you to feel a little safer at work, you must have been so stressed throughout this pandemic. Thank you and your DH from me for all your hard work in such difficult circumstances

I do hope your August trip goes ahead. It’s so difficult to see an end to this at the moment and I think the dark winter nights in lockdown makes it so much bleaker. But the news of more having their vaccinations gives us a little more hope

I forgot to post a pretty snow photo from Sunday so I will do it now. It looked nice when it first fell but it’s turned into sheer ice now so it’s not so pretty now

Well I’ve been optimistic this week and booked a couple of holidays. Some UK breaks with Airbnb and they can be cancelled for full refunds up to a few days before we travel so it’s reasonably secure.

One is a cottage in Dorset in June around 20-30 minutes from the coast at Weymouth- Charmouth. The second is a cottage In Ceredigion West Wales for a week in July.

Also transferred my deposit from last year’s holiday to Athens with EasyJet to a week for just myself and DH in October to an adults only all inclusive hotel in Majorca. This can be cancelled up to a month before, or transferred so we can assess this just before we pay the final balance and decide whether to cancel or not.

I’m not entirely sure they will happen but it’s nice have a few plans and hopefully we may get some holidays back this year
