Tui flight only cancellations

For anyone who was booked to fly with tui, flight only. If your flight was cancelled how have tui been? Do they just give you a refund or do they like some other airlines offer you a different date at no extra cost? I think I read that on other peoples posts?

When our Tui flight only got cancelled last year the refund was transferred straight back into our bank account within a week of cancellation email.

When our Sept 2020 flight was cancelled we were refunded within days. 👍

I've asked tui if I can amend my flight only to Florida to a package to Europe, they've said yes

I found them very good when we were booked with European holidays refunds very quick

I had flight only last year. It was cancelled. They refused refund but did agree to roll it over. So I have it this year.

Would like to change it now, but no joy.

Why didn't you do a chargeback ?

Probably should've done. I wanted to go this year, and at that time expected to. So rolling over seemed ok.

I thought however that rolling over would be exactly that. Rolling over with existing T&C's. Instead they cancelled it and rebooked me for this year with those t&C's which are less covid friendly. Plus it counts as a new booking during the no fly period so not covered by my insurance.

Ho hum. Live and learn.

Next time I will get the money back and do the booking my way at a later date.

This was Europe not Florida flights if that makes a difference.

Our flight only for last year was cancelled and refund processed very quickly. We're flight only for this year in late September for 3 weeks (booked November 2019) so hopefully it goes, or if not, the refund processed as quickly. I'll never book as far ahead again.

Same for us they were really helpful and money was back into our account within days, we had already booked for this year hence us wanting a refund

looks like we are going to be in the same situation this year for our July booking
