Loved my revolut card. Really great exchange rates - load as and when you have money, then exchange to dollar when the rate suits. Every day it gave me a breakdown of my spends of the day, so made budgeting really easy. Also easy to pay other revolut users. Still use the card in UK for all contactless payments.

I'm in ireland and use the an post prepaid card. I was caught up in the wirecard debacle but anpost quickly sorted it all out and transferred my funds (with my permission) to another provider.
It took them a few days, but I was glad I had done it through them as they had more 'clout' than an individual had things gone the other way! I've never had any issues other than this once!

Was just about to post a similar question, we used FairFx back in 2011 never had any issues with it.. but will now take a look at Revolut for next year's trip. Do people still take cash too?
