I’m guessing on an indirect flight you’d only have to test and/or provide vaccine info at the first airport 🤔

I guess so. Of course the future may be very different to the past and foreign tourists, different to the processing of returning US citizens.

Glad to see Miami on there. I’ve literally just booked our flights for April 2022, and I had visions of finding out we couldn’t go because we’d booked the wrong airport. (I realise we still might not go, but at least this keeps my hopes alive!)

The list was above was only valid until 14th September 2020 when the requirement for US citizens to land at certain airports was lifted,
Edited to add "The following appeared on the CDC website in September 2020:- "Beginning September 14, 2020, the USG will remove requirements for directing all flights carrying airline passengers arriving from, or recently had a presence in, certain countries to land at one of 15 designated airports and halt enhanced entry health screening for these passengers" Obviously the Presidential Proclamation preventing UK citizens entering the US is still in force." MCO re-opened to international flights quite some time ago. There are flights from most of the Caribbean, Mexico and parts of South America. Emirates are resuming flights to Dubai from June.

I suspect Sanford will be low on the list of prioriities as it is a very small domestic airport servicing Allegiant Air who only has Tui as an international charter carrier.
I would hope any future announcemnt won't distinguish between types of airports but at the moment who knows. Edited at 08:33 PM. |
