Last day of school

So it’s dd’s last day of school tomorrow. It’s only really just hit me that she’s finishing and I must admit to feeling a bit emotional. I can clearly remember her first day at primary and the years have flown by ever since.
She does have one last exam tomorrow but hopefully the rest of the day will be fun

That's come round quick and I can only imagine the shock. My DS is year 10 so another year but I think I'd be pining for younger days if he left tomorrow.

It’s my DS’s last day next Friday. He’s going to college in September. They grow so fast.

It’s my youngest’s last day next Friday.
He’s looking forward to finishing after all the assessments and I’m looking forward to the break from the twice daily 30 mile round trips to take him to school.
He’ll hopefully be back there in September for 6th form for A levels though.
Time does fly 🤔

It's my daughter's last day next Friday. She's currently off full of cold and a nasty cough. Thankfully her covid test came back clear today but I'm hoping she's feeling a lot better after the weekend as she still has about 8 assessments next week plus a science assessment she will miss tomorrow which she'll probably have to do after school one day.

It's my DS last day - he had his last Alevel exam today which finished early so they all just left. They have a Leavers dinner in June and a Leavers hoodie on order but really has been a let down & disappointing 6th form experience for him. None of the usual mixing with the girls school since Feb 2020, no prom, no celebrations, no final assembly. It all feels a little flat for him. Oh and its his 18th birthday this weekend, no party as no mixing inside. Planning a celebration party for him for birthday and off to uni in the summer when the weather should be better and we can all mix socially again.
