I live in Aberdeen but until a few years ago hadn’t been that far off the beaten track but I was desperate to see where Skyfall was filmed at Glen Etive. Wow, it was stunning.

Stunning pictures, and you've got good weather! Where's the top photo taken? I recognise the Glenfinnan viaduct.

Just amazing! Did you go to the top of the viewpoint to see the viaduct? What is the hike like?

AMAZing photos!
I'm so glad you're enjoying Scotland.
I always tell people you really cannot beat the jaw dropping scenery - no need to go to Austria Switzerland etc, it's all on our doorstep (For us all in the UK I mean, not just us in Scotland

Photos make me so excited for our own mini trip next week.
You might have already said, but, what 's the midge situation like at the moment?

Off into town tomorrow to pick up essentials for our mini-trip - Jungle Formula insect repellent is TOP of the list, just in case!

Yes went to the viewpoint at the top, it was fine for me, I would say its fine for an average person, not too far. We didn’t stay for the train going over as was too early but there was a lot of people congregating waiting for it. There was still quite a lot of space in the car park, I think they have made an overflow car park by the looks of it x
