Long wait at MCO arrival

Thought I’d just update any Dibbers flying out soon on the current wait times at MCO, so plan accordingly.

Immigration was nearly 2 hours ! The VS27 was still there when we arrived on the VS15 :O ! Shocking.

Anyone also getting a rental car, we used Budget and the wait time for that was 50 mins.

So glad that ordeal is over and looking forward to an exciting holiday

We’re just back and had a different experience. From landing to driving out in the hire car, it was 59 minutes!

Hope we get the latter and not the former. It really is just luck of the draw on the day though. We tend to expect the worst and then anything else is a pleasant surprise.

Landed at 4.50 yesterday immigration took about 15 mins all bags about 15 mins unfortunately waiting for little man push chair was the longest wait about 30 mins had to do 2nd bag drop which was 20 mins Alamo skip counter so was easy time to landing to leaving garage about 1hour 20 so lovely

maybe we should great a spreadsheet, what days people arrive and which flights, we can then work out hopefully what days to avoid

Think it’s luck of the draw the Glasgow flight that landed just behind us would have a very long wait

We came of the Glasgow flight yesterday. Arrived at gate at 1655 and on monorail with all cases (4 of us) by 1725. Had hire car and on the road by 1745.

We were delighted as we expected long queues.

Its just a lottery. 3 hours to clear the airport in March, less than an hour in September.
