Best area for a villa?

Hi all we are looking to book a villa for the first time for next year (usually stay on Disney but changing our booking due to there being no perks anymore). We are looking at 3 areas champions gate, storey lake and solara! Has anyone been to these or more than one of them and have any preferences or if you’ve been to them and found them to be good any advice or experiences would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance

We've stayed in the Championsgate area at least once most years since 2012 as we like where it is and the access to restaurants and shopping, either in Championsgate itself, on the 27 or 192.

We don't tend to do the parks these days, but because of the I4 getting to the parks is reasonably straightforward, either up the 429 or World Drive or the various 'rat runs'.

Having said that we were reviewing our plans for this year (until we cancelled) as the traffic through Championsgate has become problematic, as has the queues on the I4.

Can't comment on the other two as we have not stayed there.

Have stayed at Champions Gate and nearby Solterra, which is extremely nice, safe with great Villas and facilities .
Was also booked in at Solara, but was put off by safety reports, as well as it being the hub for Party groups with noise from parties causing issues !
Hope that helps !

Guess everyone will have their own preferences.
I’ve stayed in Bella Vida, Cumbrian Lakes, Seasons, Terra Verde, Callabay Parc but Champions Gate area is my favourite.
Should have returned last year for our 3rd time, hopefully this August will go ahead.
I like the area as great selection of restaurants, bars, fast food outlets and supermarkets.

Seconded, it’s a great location, very quiet, shops and restaurants on your doorstep and can be in animal kingdom in less than 10 mins.

We’ve done champions gate area twice (and hopefully this year) as we got a good deal, however I actually prefer the bit off of the 27 near where it meets the 192. Love driving down the 192 towards Disney and seeing so many restaurants and outlets.

We’ve stayed at champions gate, water song and Indian creek. We’ve liked all of the areas but for us the closeness of Indian creek to Disney wins hands down. Last year we were supposed to stay at emerald island but that was cancelled so we transferred back to the dibb villa we love on Indian creek for this year. Unfortunately she’s now not taking anymore bookings 😕

We love champions gate area too. We did highlands reserve and whilst a nice community felt it wasn’t the best location. I’ve just booked Windsor palms dibb villa next year 👍🏼
