Yes. I got the same email. We are booked for May 2021, and it does say that because we booked before the latest announcement, that we can contact VA when the seat allocation opens up for our flight in June 17th, and we will be able to book premium seats for free

I have also been sent this email. We fly 30th April our seats are available 3 June ours are also free..

Not happy as I have a few holidays with them and only got one email. So I will have to pay for some over others.
The free seat booking was one of the reasons I took VA over Tui

I got the same email. We fly 11th june 2022. Says our flight opens on 4th august. We can choose for free too.
Only the rows closer to the front. Probably as they’ve lost the 747 upper deck that they charged for in economy.
