Can anyone share any reviews of their experience onboard an MSC cruise?
Ideally looking for family reviews, thank you! |

You can start here cruisecritic/memberr...sc-cruises/cl/
If it is the UK cruises you are looking at, Virtuosa is a new ship that has yet to have a passenger on. So no real reviews on her specifically, but you can look at her sister ship Grandiosa or her other "Sisters" Meraviglia and Belissima, which are technically smaller ships, but basically the same class with most of the same features.

I’m thinking of booking either 28 May or 1 June.
Would be good to hear from anybody that’s booked these. We’ll be fully vaccinated, have they said anything about PCR test requirements? I could only find info that said LFT for boarding and during the cruise. |

I've booked for 12 June.
I've heard a few things regarding testing. But at the moment I understand you can use a private Lateral Flow or PCR test 72 hrs beforehand and you need two copies of your "fit to fly" certificate when boarding. You then have another test at the terminal before embarkation. At the moment there is no change for vaccinated or not, two tests are mandatory. Although I have heard a few conflicting reports that fully vaccinated may not need to take the first private test but that has not been officially confirmed by MSC. I've not been on MSC before and as a company they seem to have their fans who absolutely love them and others that hate them. But the new ship looks awesome. |
