How much should I expect to pay for a flight in July/august

I know prices can vary and with everything that’s going on prices might sky rocket next year but I was wondering what’s an average cost for a flight to Orlando in the uk school holidays? Obviously not a lot of flights are out yet, virgin gave quotes £4684 for 4 adults, one child from Heathrow to Miami (we’re going do Miami for 2 nights and Orlando/Disney for 12) with car hire (with the full insurance). I’m not sure if that’s good/bad/average? Any insight would be great thanks. We’re flying 25th July 2022, returning the 8th august.
Thanks!

That’s extortionate in my opinion! I paid £3400 for 4 adults LHR-MIA Premium economy and SUV car hire for 2 weeks with BA for this August.

Ok thanks. I just have no idea plus don’t know whether flights will go up next year or what. Hard to know what’s a good price or not!

We’ve paid £770 each for flight, 2 nights hard rock, 2 nights Rosen and 13 days car hire. Moved from last July to this July. Booked through BA.

Ok thanks. We’ve Already booked a villa (£1350 for 14 nights) but we’re going to change that to 12 nights and do the last two nights in Miami. I think I’ll hang on until ba release their flights, maybe I’m too eager!

Sorry didn’t mean to come across as patronising. BA do seem to be a bit cheaper than Virgin I think.

Thanks!
TUI is currently between £3440 to £4156 flight only (no bags) depending on dates (August 2022)

Flying next year is going to more expensive than the past for sure.

Select your seat plus 20kg bags

£3872 to £4588

Oh no definitely didn’t think you were being patronising Holly!

Yeah that’s the thing, if prices are going go up then I’d rather just get it booked now. Just so hard knowing what to do for the best!

I’ve rung BA but they aren’t releasing flights/ fly drives until 355 days before, they’re only doing holidays which I got a quote for but that was more expensive than diy

Before I knew better, I paid £4100 for 2ad and 2ch from Manchester to Orlando with Thomas Cook (flight only).

Now, I shop around and go indirect if needs be. I’ve got 2ad and 2 teens (12+) LHR to JFK with a 2 night stop over (Hotel in Midtown Manhattan), onward flights to MCO, return direct MCO to LHR plus a Ford Mustang for 18 days for £3100. I’m very happy with that price.

Edited to add: that’s with BA.
