Heathrow airport parking 2022

Okay I have taken a chance and booked 2022 to see the mouse. But to get a decent price we are having to fly from Heathrow for the first time, can anyone recommend onsite or close to the airport parking, we don't want to leave our keys and we want to park it ourselves. Any recommendations would be grateful appreciated.

Morning, we're going via Heathrow next year too, and im booking through the website, self park, keep your keys and I believe you can grab a shuttle over.
It's costing me 130 for 19 days.

Thank you for that. All I seem to find is meet and greet, and purple parking where they park the car for you. I will have a look now

We used the Long Stay car park which is along the Northern or Eastern Perimeter Road last time I went to Heathrow.
I've looked this up for next year's trip and its coming out at £171!

Although I'd like to park myself and keep my keys, I can get Purple Parking for £90 and a Premier Inn for £35 so it doesn't make much sense to park in Long Stay at the mo.

Maple parking has some good discount codes at the moment.

Self Parking - Come back and maybe find dents on doors or a scrape on the bumper. No chance of finding out who did it.

Meet and Greet. Car videoed before they take it and inspected when they bring it back including the alloys

I know which I prefer. Plus I check the dash cam and mileage to see where it's been.

We use either the short stay ( which does allow for longer stays ) and long stay at Heathrow so we can hop straight in the car with our keys without having the faff of waiting for a shuttle.

It is more expensive but after a few problems in the past it's our personal choice.

This year we are hopefully going from terminal 5 so have booked the short stay there ( 18 days ) but we usually go from terminal 3.

My advice is book fully cancellable and book as soon as you see a price you are happy with as the prices are pretty hefty closer to the time, fully cancellable gives you the option to book and re book if the price drops ..they don't often though and I foresee a lot of people who have cancelled or carried over flights this year will be looking at next year .

Good Points as usual Mr T,

We use our battered 10 reg work Citroen for airport parking

( Usually it's my DH wot did it )
