Mobile Dining Plan

With the quick service dining plans can you get anything decent to eat that doesn't consist of burger and chips etc?
Wondering weather or not to upgrade.

You definitely can! I only had one burger in a 15 night stay on the QSDP. Wolfgang puck express at downtown disney was our favourite place to use QSDP, lots of choice that wasn't just burgers. Have a look at some of the menus to give you an idea of what options there are.

Yup, those days of nothing but burgers are long gone at Disney. Why not look through the menus and see for yourself: http://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/menus.php

This report is great to answer that question

You just need to look through the menus and decide where you want to go.

The only burger I had last year was a Krusty burger at Universal! We had sandwiches, fish, roasted meats with vegetables, pasta, pizza and the usual things like hot dogs chicken burgers etc. We aren't going to upgrade as qspd suits our needs more as it's quicker for the kids and the variety is good - and the portions are big so we can share if we don't feel up to a meal each.

Yes there are some lovely places. It's not all burger and chips. Epcot World Showcase is fantastic with lots of different cuisines
You can filter the restaurants on Disney website to show just quick service and then by location. You can then take a look at the menus. Always useful to make a note of the ones you want to try.

Anything decent? Lol yes I never had a burger and fries once.
We ate at Wolfgang puck express, hubby had pasta me, pizza. Had breakfast there too.
Be our guest, slow cooked pork , mash green beans, tuna Niçoise , quiche, salad.

Various Chinese meals in Epcot, grand Floridian gasperilla grill was lovely.
Earl of sandwich at Disney springs was also nice.
Yak and yeti at animal kingdom was nice, we had sweet and sour chicken.
Tangier cafe at Epcot was lovely too. Lots more there is a thread on about favourite qs meals.
I personally wouldn't upgrade to the regular dining plan when I get qs free and there is more than enough to eat and more than enough choices .

That's what I wanted to hear. It's an extra £448 to upgrade but if that can be used for spends lol.

How do you go about the character breakfast etc. Can you still use it for them? Would like to get at least one done.

No the quick service isn't for any waiter served meals such as character meals. You can book and pay cash. People find though if they fancy a few character or table service meals it can be cheaper upgrading or booking Okw or ssr that includes the full dining plan not the quick service.
