Good waterproof Camera

DS 14 wants a waterproof Camera for our trip to the Caribbean next Sunday.

He wants to take pictures and maybe videos while Snorkelling in the sea.

Are there any decent-ish one's around please?

Buget is around £30-£40.

I know I can find them all over the web, not just on eBay. But I was hoping for recommendations of Camera's people have used and rate.

We have a Fujifilm Finepix XP60 which we have used successfully in Australia, Florida and Mexico whilst snorkelling and waterparks etc and had been lots of fun. We have lots of great underwater photos from it.

We have a Panasonic lumix. It’s over your budget but I’m sure you can get some decent second hand ones at a reasonable price on eBay

When we were at Discover Cove last year they sold us a clear waterproof wallet to put our phone in. You can they use your phone underwater. It was expensive there but only a few quid in eBay.

They tested it with tissue in before first use to check it was watertight before putting phone in.

I know it's not what your after but a quick alternative.

We've had a fuji finepix xp for around 15 years still works perfectly I wouldn't hesitate to buy a second hand one from eBay, my daughter did she's had no problems either, plus you can buy extra/new batteries and they take standard memory cards, pictures and videos both under and out of the water are very good too
