Finally booked a cruise on royal Caribbean harmony of the seas 3 nights in Orlando then a 7 day cruise we fly out on the 28th of November. Any advice would be appreciated as we are new to this and finding it all a little confusing 😊

I would change your title to be ' Advice needed for RCI Harmony of the Seas', then people who have sailed Harmony before can see at a glance and may be able to help.

main advice I'd give to any first time cruise is to read the programme you receive in your room. You generally get them for the next day and they list everything that's going off so we take a highlighter and highlight all the things we're interested so we don't miss out on things like shows, talks etc

The most important cruise tip ever is...
You can order as much food as you want at dinner in the main dining room- want 2 starters, 2 mains and 3 desserts? No problem.

Lol, in all seriousness (not that food isn't serious!) I would have at least a rough plan for what you want to do each port. Sometimes 'we'll just get off the ship and wing it' works, often it doesn't. We usually have a better time when we plan.

Take a lanyard, highlighter, magnet and re-fillable bottles and flasks. The lanyard (with clear pocket) for your cruise card (you can buy them on the ship if you don't have one), magnet for 'pinning' things to your stateroom wall, highlighter for marking activities you want to do, and the re-fillable bottles are good for carrying water and coffee etc around the ship. Oh and buy some of the big towel clips (about £1 on ebay for a pack of 4) as it stops the towel flying off your lounger during windy sea days.

Harmony is an amazing ship so enjoy. Sign up to Cruise Critic and you'll get more information than you could ever want.

I would recommend Wonderland restaurant as something different to try.
