Think they are rebranded planes of the same type. Transatlantic A330 or something. First flight is to New York today

From what I've read it's just the outside livery & crew uniforms that are changing not anything inside, I seem to remember that the cabins were updated a couple of years ago so I can't see them making huge changes inside the aircraft again.
We just booked our flights with them a couple of nights ago for our upcoming trip in November, got a great deal on business class from Heathrow via Dublin which worked out roughly £1,000 cheaper than BA when you factored in what BA charge to reserve seats & compared to what Virgin wanted the difference was huge.
Although we made the Disney booking last April, it feels real now that the flights have been booked.

the first plane to be revamped with the new livery is 9 years old which would fit with the schedule aer lingus uses for new coats of paint. no sure if EI-EDY has had an interior refit too.
