Photobucket issue resolved?

Can anyone else affected by the photobucket charging issue suddenly see all their photos on here again or is it just me?

It was currently only affecting my 1st trip report and days 4-8 of my current report as the other reports had photos uploaded from a photobucket account that I paid around £30 a year for (as apposed to the $400 they wanted to charge when the changes were brought in) so those photos were still viewable for the time being.

I've spent ages re-uploading the photos to flickr instead and had deleted all the photo links for Day 8 and copy and pasted in the new ones only to find when I came to update it on here that I could see all the pictures from that day even though they're still being hosted on my free photobucket account?

Bit confused right now but hoping photobucket have seen sense and realised that very few people are going to pay $400 to be able to post their pictures.

Just found this! Would happily pay $19.99 a year but not sure I could trust them to not suddenly put the price up by loads again (it hints in the article that there will most likely be a price increase at some point).

I've found flickr so much more user friendly so will probably stick with that for subsequent days but I suppose there's always a chance they will suddenly want to start charging loads too. Either way I'm glad to have my photos back in my reports again as it was going to be such a big job to go through and relink them!

Thanks for letting us know about this. I couldn’t even remember which photos I’d used in my trip report, so will have to take some screenshots in case it goes again.

Thanks for this. Too late for me as I downloaded all my Photobucket photos to my PC and then used the Dibb uploader to put them into my reports. But may help someone!
