Golden Week? Would you travel then?

We can not decide where to go to this year, been toying with Bali, Sri Lanka etc but Japan looks amazing. We have already booked the time off so we have to go in those two weeks and sadly it falls in the same week as Golden week, which I had never heard of until yesterday!

Would you travel to Japan then or would you give it a miss and book for next year giving Golden Week a wide berth?

We will arrive just after the golden week. Have you checked out the hotel prices etc. as it may be even more expensive that week.

Yes they seem to be expensive, think we better start planning for another time.

Maybe for the best - everything I have read says it’s crazy busy that week.
