Seaworld 3 for 2 ticket upgrade to AP

Has anyone done the upgrade recently, looking at the ticket for 2 trips one sept and july/aug next year after doing the upgrade to the 3 park annual pass which comes also with free parking but also the discounts on food merch etc and free sky tower also so not paying the $2 and $3 fee for day and weekend rides

Was asking what seaworld actually valued the uk ticket at as with the exchange rate at the moment it might be best just to get the annual pass once out there rather than buy the 3 for 2 and upgrade

I know that disney value the ultimate passes differently depending on which park you try doing upgrade at so might get a better deal from either busch gardens or aquatica

Any info appreciated leave in 12 days for a 3 week trip and hoping infinity falls will be into soft openings if not full operations by then

I sent a message to seaworld a few weeks ago. To ask this question. They said that there was only one pass that I would be able to upgrade to and that pass was over $350. I can’t find the message to get the exact figures. At that price it will work out cheaper to buy two sets of two week tickets from the uk. For the last two trips we have upgraded one of the tickets to the ultimate one to get the free parking

looking at it that way seems like they are making you upgrade to the platinium pass which doesnt make much sense to me considering there is the exact same parks annual pass to why go to the pass which covers all the parks in the group countrywide

if they rated the 3 for 2 at £100 or $128 approx depending on £ to $ exchange rates etc and the annual is $252 plus tax,the 2 tickets would come out approx the same pricing,so im waiting till get to florida and will just buy the annual pass outright instead of messing about upgrading the ticket and trying to get the best deal

Contacted Seaworld and Busch Gardens about upgrading the uk 3 for 2 to annual pass, and got mixed responses on this

one said its the same ticket as the us version so would give credit for that ticket and would then deduct that figure from the annual pass 3 park ticket and you pay the difference

another said you cant upgrade the uk ticket, when asked why they didnt know,so asked for a manager, eventually got to someone who said that the uk ticket is a fixed 14 day ticket and cant be upgraded

and lastly just spoke to aquatica customer services and they said it is cheaper to just buy the annual pass outright as when you upgrade the uk ticket to annual pass you dont get the annual pass benefits like food and merch discounts, you get the free parking but nothing else

so i am getting there on monday 3rd sept and will be going to aquatica cs on my way down from the airport to sort it all out, will get on here sometime and post what i find out

Got any more info OP...I am going to Tampa and planning visiting Busch Gardens in Oct but also might be in Orlando April so wondering what best option is if I want to go to all parks across these 2 trips.

I done this in December! We had 3 park ( inc busch) but hadn’t actually used the busch tickets, so they letme upgrade to 2 park. I have to do the more expensive one for me, as i wanted the photo pass. But done a cheaper one for my daughter. With my pass i also got two free tickets, and one free ticket with daughters, so it means that other daughter and hubbie can come for a day when we return in the summer. I think they gave us about $130 for out ticket against the annual pass price, it took a while, and to be honest, im not sure they knew what they were doing, but we got there!
