WDW Nov trip cancelled - roll on 2020!

I never had to cancel before, so it was a sad feeling. It was 14 nights on 9-23 November at Coronado Springs with the free QSDP.

When I booked last year, I was hoping that Galaxy's Edge would be open at that time but now it looks unlikely before Thanksgiving at least and even if it did open in time, the crowds would be horrendous anyway. So I decided to wait an extra year and go back in 2020 instead. Sure DHS will always be crowded from the moment Star Wars open, but to risk it in the opening days is too much so I pulled the plug. I can only afford to go every 2-3 years so it seems wiser to wait a bit.

Anyone else waiting for 2020?

I'm having the same dilemma, like you I've booked 7th November for two weeks at CBR mainly thinking stars wars would be open, I'm still on the side mainly for going anyway, as if its not open, it will be an exsuse to go back in a few years 😆
but if it is only just opening it will be hordous 😩
although we went 2017 as Pandora had just opened and the crowds were managble and we still got everything done😊
Still deciding , I haven't booked flights yet as that may be the deciding factor tbh
😆😆

I think Star Wars will be like Pandora x 10 at the very least. Not sure how Disney will manage the crowds at Hollywood Studios in the opening days. As a knock on effect, all other rides in that park will be crazy busy too, it's not like there are dozens of rides to absorb the crowds. I think even one year later it will be crazy (look at Pandora now), but the opening days will be insane.
