Proud Mother Moment
Just needed to post this DS has autisum and for the last 6 months i have been trying to get him to lose weight 😟 we went through lots of steps, he kept saying he was going to die because of no food😣 bad mother moment. Anyway i have been off work (work in a school) and thought" this is it we are doing it" so it's been hard got him onboard with calorie counting and this is working(slowly). This week he has lost 4lb😁 so happy, he keeps telling me ti calm down. Just had to tell someone.

That's great, my daughter also has autism and we went through a long phase where she was constantly over eating, luckily she is like a tazmanian devil full of energy so burnt a lot of it off but she is now a keen swimmer and lover of gymnastics... Especially now she's mastered a cartwheel lol... Hopefully seeing such great results will spurr your son on to keep up his great work 👍👍👍

Well done you guys!
My 10 year old needs to be on a diet too although for now we are just restricting "treats" as he has piled on the pounds in the last year. Like alot of Autistic folk he is very inactive as sports are difficult for him from a social view point. He prefers his own company and being plugged into something. Its also a comfort with him plus he never realises he is thirsty and often mistakes that for hungry. |

Thank you all for your kind words. Yes it is very difficult and hard for them as well as us😣 but we have nearly done another week. He caught me cheating😯 and that seemed to spur him on more👍 he now says i'm terrible and he needs to help me😁. We bought a exercise machine from a garage sale round the corner, but has been to hot to usr it😣hopefully today🤞
