We’ve had chicken wraps ( chargrilled chicken in Nando’s rub, the peppers and onions ) and fries . Finished work late so a quick tea.

One of my favourite meals tonight - togarashi popcorn chicken. Tim/Jenn Tracker made it on one of their vlogs a while back and we’ve had it regularly since!

We have just had homemade chicken tikka masala and rice... Wasn't that nice, I prefer it when I use a cooking sauce instead of making it from scratch

Do you make your own tonkatsu sauce/ togarash ? Doesn't seen to have recipe

It is Thursday so veggie night here since DD17 went veggie.

Veggie BBQ pulled "pork" and cooked broccoli layered with macaroni cheese and topped with cheesy breadcrumbs, done til crispy in the oven.

Served with garlic bread and lashings of ketchup.

I buy this tonkatsu sauce from a local Chinese shop -

You can also get Togarashi seasoning from there but Sainsbury’s etc do it too. The slaw/rice is lovely with pork tonkatsu too! That recipe has the ingredients for a Tonkatsu sauce too but the bottle I buy lasts ages so I never make it myself.
