There wasn’t an option to select. We’ve emailed them to ask if they can do wire transfers, and how, as it said it was!

They have now confirmed receipt of the money and the closing docs. Our transfer company apologised for sending it incorrectly. I’m not sure if this is just good customer service or if the fault did lie with them!
Either way, I’m glad we’re one step closer to the end. |

I just did mine today with HiFX/ XE.
Set it all up, and said I wanted to do by bank transfer (to avoid advanced money fees on credit card). They said it would go Monday. Rang up First Direct and transferred 9k sterling to XE. It’s sat there now ready to go Monday. Maybe I could have just used my Visa Debit instead of doing a bank transfer but I was worried I may be hit with some sort of charge, probably wrongly.

How’s yours going, YorkshireT?
Am I correct that I should be looking for the sellers name on the comptrollers website? If so, why is that? |

Look for your own name on the Comptroller's website.
My sellers seem slow in getting the docs back. I have done my bit, including sending the money which they confirmed they received.

No idea where I got that from then. :-)
Are you needing completion by any particular date? |

Is it normal for it to take so long in them receiving the money in their account please? My sellers also haven't returned closing docs but they only got them on 27th. I really need access by about 19th January so its getting close

I have points! I have actual points in my account. :-D
I know everything is doom and gloom at the moment, but I have 428 points to spend this/next year. :-D |

Congratulations what a great feeling
Ah just ignore the doom and gloom and enjoy what you have! I'm still a very happy DVC owner with both my old BCV home and my new CCV home, it's all about what suits the individual

I’m also going to be happy about the timing. I always knew that direct was a lot more, but if we purchased our 214 direct today it would be over $20k more than we paid.
On top of that, on the other board more BCV contracts have been taken in ROFR in the last month than were taken in the last 2 years! Obviously this is a small sample, but I’m just so glad we got in when we did. |
