Deluxe beverage package Royal Caribbean

Hi

Royal Caribbean have an offer on just now in that you get the Deluxe beverage package for free on selected sailings. Is this a really good deal and does it include everything ?

Quite often with RCI the price will be built into the promotion (so if you book without the deal it’s likely to be about the same price as you’d pay for the cruise and then adding on the drink package). We booked while there was no deal on and then added the deluxe package in the Black Friday sale.

I’d actually already booked the drink package after booking the cruise as there was word that prices will increase on all packages for 2019. I just cancelled then rebooked at the Black Friday price saving around £50. The deluxe package is approximately £41pppd which sounds a lot but includes cocktails at $12 each, premium juices (freshly squeezed OJ for example), coffee, bottles of water etc. so it’s very easy to reach that level of spend.

We got it in included in October for our cruises next year.

Having been on two cruises without it, it will definitely be worth it.

I do think they price it into the offer but the price per day varies from cruise to cruise our current prices for drinks packages are £48 pp per day.

If the cruise price looks good for you go for it, when the offer ends I guarantee the price without will not be more than the cost of the package.

We also got a discounted fare.

I would say it's definitely worth it. We like to have a drink on our hols. This would include the non alcoholic frozen mocktails, etc, so not just alcohol included.
