Fuming... last time I order Christmas from M&S

I never book a food delivery for Christmas. I’m always worried I’d get a bunch of flowers instead of a turkey or some other ridiculous substitution.

Oh dear I am due to collect from m&s in about an hour hope I get what I ordered!

We don't do the m+S collection - we just go at 8am on 21st/22nd - when they put out the longer use-by dated stuff here - but there are only 5 of us, so no "party packs" needed.

I hate going shopping on Christmas eve, so I am not going to do the same sort of trip to stand for ages waiting to pick up stuff either.

Collected my turkey and bits from M&S this morning - 9.00am-9.30am slot. Nothing but praise for them - they packed the bags efficiently and it was all very organised. Twenty minutes in and out.

I was a bit nervous that we were going to get a turkey though ... after reading your post Op but thankfully the bird has been collected .

Just been for my turkey, pigs in blankets and gravy. There spot on 9.30 and back at the car 9.45. Always get the boneless turkey breast, hope it will be as good as previous years.

I stopped 2 years ago and there use by dates dates were awful

Got most of my shopping on Friday and hubby has just been to get milk and bread. He said Morrisons was heaving. People collecting their orders and others doing their weekly shop.

Just got back from M&S. did our normal shop plus extra Christmas food, they had everything for Christmas dinner. (Only a food store)

It wasn’t any busier than normal and was easy to park.

I’ve always gone to M&S on Christmas Eve as I think most people seem to shop on the 22/23rd.

I ordered a Tesco Finest Free Range Turkey Crown and a Finest Smoked Gammon which I picked up this morning before I went to work. I used to use a local butcher but sadly that shop has closed now.
